What does it take to make a great performance horse? Everything! Pedigree is important. Sires are vital, but great sires come from great dams. Conformation is a critical ingredient, talent is extremely important … but trainability tops the list. Without great temperament in a breeding program, no amount of talent, quality or pedigree will have continued success.

At Eleanor’s all these criteria are carefully considered. Eleanor’s horses are bred to be good-minded, gentle and to have a second-to-none work ethic that is admired and respected wherever western horses are used for pleasure, ranch work and competition. These horses enjoy what they do because they are built to do the job, from head to hock, soundly and efficiently.

Professionals, Amateurs, youth riders, and senior citizens count on Eleanor’s horses to get them to the neighbors, to the school house, out to the herd and into the Winner’s Circle. And so will you.
