Bred and owned her entire life by Eleanor Hamilton, Miss Eveningshade was a daughter of the *Muscat son, Crown Musc+, an original foundation stallion for Eleanor’s Arabians. Crown Musc+ arrived at Eleanor’s Arabians as a young horse, became a Champion in Halter and performance and lived there until his death in 2013. Miss Eveningshade produced two national winners for Eleanor. Heza Rising Star (Hesa Zee+/) foaled in 2002, was bred by Eleanor and is owned by Laura Hendricks. He is a  7-time National Top Ten and a 2-time Canadian Reserve National Champion in Reining. EAF The Maverick (Nobles Top Gun) foaled in 2013, was bred by Eleanor and is currently owned by Julie Seppa.  EAF The Maverick is a 2-time Canadian National Top Ten and a Canadian Reserve National Champion in Western Pleasure.
“In 2018 we had a foal born that needed a mother and we asked Miss Eveningshade if she would adopt him,” says Mark Coombs, Eleanor’s Arabians breeding manager. “She never hesitated. Miss Eveingshade was the kindest, gentlest Arabian mare I’ve ever known. A truly beautiful spirit.”
