ELEANOR’S ARABIANS STANDS CANADIAN NATIONALS PROUD!

August brought sunshine and roses for the Eleanor’s Arabians team at the 2018 Canadian National Championships in Brandon, Manitoba. Perhaps the most exciting moment of the show manifested when Gary Ferguson rode Hesa Artfull Zee to a Canadian National Championship in the Open Reining.  Sired by Hesa Zee+/, Hesa Artfull Zee is out of the *Muscat daughter Artymusme, an important part of the Eleanor’s Arabian Farm breeding program. Artymusme is the dam of 6 national winners, including Hesa Artfull Zee and multi-National Champion Art By Hesa.

The Rose family did particularly well at this year’s Canadian National Show, bringing home multiple Top Ten awards, two National Championships and two Reserve National Championships. CMS Super Chick (Crown Musc+ x Super Cindy Brick) was 2018 Canadian National Champion Showmanship JT 13 & Un, Top Ten HA Hunter Pleasure JO 13 & Un and Hunt Seat Equitation JT 13 & Un with Madison Rose. Madison also teamed up with Sheza Melody Jac (Heza Zee+/ x Surprizn Miss Melody) to take roses in the 2018 Canadian National Championship Western Horsemanship JT 13 & Un and a Top Ten in the HA Reining JT 18 & Un, while her brother, Justin rode this talented mare to a Top Ten in the Western Seat Equitation W/T 10 & Under. Madison and Hezas Sweet Dreams (Heza Zee+/ x Sweet Red Glo) brought home Reserve National Championship honors in the HA Reining JT 18 & Under. All three of these horses were bred by Eleanor Hamilton and are owned and shown by the Rose family.  Eleanor’s second Canadian reserve national championship came with her young star EAF The Maverick (Nobles Top Gun x Miss Evening Shade by Crown Musc+) with Madison Rose up, in the Western Pleasure JT 13 & Un. EAF The Maverick took an important Top Ten with mom, Pam Rose, in the Western Pleasure Jr Horse too. Madison Rose has made quite the stir on the national show circuit the last few seasons. In addition to the Eleanor-bred horses, Madison and Justin rode three other horses to Canadian National and Reserve National Championships and Top Ten awards.
